Bala is a passionate leader in Data management, Data/Information architecture and Business Intelligence, with over twenty years of experience in the banking industry. She has a proven track record of delivering business outcomes with commercial value and progressive improvement to Data & BI Landscape for efficiency and risk mitigation.

She has established Data Architecture and Management Practice in Technology, driven Data Awareness program across Technology and was recognised as a ‘Data Evangelist’. She has experience in establishing Data steward council, partnering with Business and Technology leaders, to uplift Data quality to meet regulatory and business needs. She is strong in delivery and has been recognised for successfully leading delivery of complex, cross regional Projects (including Basel II Reporting) within tight timelines.

Prior to joining RegCentric, Bala has worked at National Australia Bank for 25 years, and has experienced the data challenges organisations face, regulatory demands and competing business priorities. She is amiable and energetic, recognised for fostering collaboration, consistency and alignment across multiple teams in Business and Technology, for broader enterprise benefits, taking pragmatic and balanced approach
