Even though APRA has announced an extended implementation period for Phase 2, it has also communicated its increased expectations of the superannuation industry.
APRA is now allowing 12 months for industry to implement the new reporting requirements before the first due date, however, this is to allow trustees to "develop robust reporting solutions and deliver quality reporting".
