Press Release: RegCentrc appoints Mr Paul Larsen in its Superannuation Consulting Unit

August 30th, 2021 – RegCentric would like to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Larsen.

Mr Larsen has joined RegCentric from the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) where for the past 3 years, he led the collaboration between government regulators, superannuation administrators and software providers on the design and implementation of regulatory and operational change which has contributed to a more efficient superannuation system. Previous to ASFA, Paul had a successful career for over a decade providing advice to government and leading the successful scoping, design and implementation of many key Government superannuation programs, particularly in the Australian Taxation Office.

Mr Larsen joins RegCentric to assist clients on their journey as APRA’s regulatory engagement with Superannuation entities continues to evolve and mature. The RegCentric team continues to impress customers by implementing and supporting the Australian built and owned software suite including RegConnect. They provide the only market solution to interface with Direct to APRA (D2A) software to provide a calendar view of obligations. Being launched earlier in the year, the solution also caters for APRA Connect platform lodgement, with another 7 APRA regulated entities including Superannuation, Banking, RFC, and Insurance entities signing up for the service in the past two months.

RegCentric, founded in 2017, has been serving a growing number of Super, RFC, Insurance and ADI entities, growing engagement from a few specific regulatory partners to over 30 direct customers.
